In this series, I want to expand the traditional boundaries of the frame. My focus is on how each frame relates to the others. When I frame a shot in the camera, I am looking at the edges. Considering how it will exist against its neighbors.
All the final pieces are hand trimmed and mounted. The act of physically assembling separate pieces of paper to create a whole imparts a tactile quality to the final piece.  It’s a quality that is different from a digitally assembled montage. I think it makes a difference when seeing them in person.
